New Fraser Lake Restaurant
The New Fraser Lake Restaurant has been serving up gourmet Chinese and Western cuisine in the Fraser Lake community for three decades. Guests can choose from an extensive menu of dishes that include favourites like chow mein, fried rice and more. Chef Joe puts great care into every dish, and each is prepared fresh using pure vegetable oil and no MSG. Guests are invited to stop in seven days per week for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or to try the New Fraser Lake Restaurant’s fabulous weekend smorgasbord, serving a wide variety of all-you-can-eat Chinese and Western dishes at one affordable price. A banquet room rental is available for weddings, parties and other special events.

Meet Joe & Joy Shen
Joy and Joe Shen are long-time Fraser Lakers who love living in their small community. They have many relationships within Fraser Lake and note that people who live here are friendly, supportive and easy to get to know. They also appreciate the spectacular and peaceful natural surroundings that contribute to a high quality of living.
Joe is a trained chef, and he always dreamed of owning his own restaurant. The New Fraser Lake Restaurant has been the fulfillment of that dream for thirty years, and he takes his dishes seriously. Preparing food in a way that is healthy without sacrificing taste is important to him, and so he uses only pure vegetable oil for cooking and never uses MSG in his dishes. Joy works alongside of Joe and fills in wherever she is needed in the restaurant. Besides being able to do what they love for a living, the Shens also appreciate the flexibility that comes with business ownership.
